The Sunken Iron Set is a rare armor set that can only be obtained through Fishing, with a chance of 1 in 8,000 for a specific piece of armor (3 in 8,000 or 1 in 2667 for any piece of armor). It makes up three of the four sunken items, with the last being the Sunken Sword.

The chance of catching a piece is increased by the fishing rod's Item Chance, up to a currently attainable maximum of 9 in 16,000 or 1 in 1778 for any piece (3 in 16,000 or 1 in 5333 for a specific piece).

Trivia[]

  • On average, players need to catch 16 sunken items before completing the sunken iron set with no duplicates. This will require approximately 85,333 catches with a magnetic Collector's Rod, which is estimated to take around 888 hours of constant fishing (On average).
  • Sunken armor has a special visual effect identical to that of the Soaking Status Effect. It does not actually inflict Soaking, however.
  • On release, Sunken armor gave slightly less stats - equal defense to the Iron Set and slightly less magic size than the Warrior Set. This was changed in the v1.1.1 patch, but wasn't mentioned in the patch notes.
  • Two days after the fishing update released, the rate for catching Sunken items was briefly halved to 1 in 4,000 in the v1.1.2 patch. This was reverted the following day in the v1.1.4 patch.
  • It is confirmed by Vetex that there will be more sunken items following TGR and will have a higher level requirement.
